#1 – Hosting

#2 – Installing Wordpress

Unless you want to get knee deep in the operations of your Wordpress hosting server and databases, you will need a Hosting Account with an easy to use Wordpress installer like Cpanel / Fantastico, or the one-click install that Dreamhost Hosting offers.  Using an automated system built into your hosting account, the the wordpress installation is a very easy procedure.

“What are you talking about?!?!?  Installing Wordpress isn’t easy for ME!!!!”

No problem, if you don’t want to get bogged down with the details, we can just add the Dreamhost/Wordpress installation to your project’s total cost and you can have me do the heavy lifting for you.  If you choose this option, I will also pre-install a list of useful Wordpress plugins and themes I have tested and used, at no additional charge.

#3 – Theme installation and Customization

This is where we take the basic, ‘vanilla’ installation of Wordpress and start to make it your own.  I will guide you through a design process, starting with your own suggested sites, or chosen Free Wordpress Themes, to get a basic outline of the look and feel you want for your site.  Using html and css, and by installing third-party (free) Wordpress Plugins, I will power up your site, and give it your own custom look.   When I am finished, you will receive a basic introductory tutorial session, showing you how to update your website pages and blog using an easy, online interface (no software or special skills required).

Follow Up / Consulting
